The potential side effects when using Finasteride 1mg tablets include depression, anxiety, dizziness, weakness, lightheadedness, headache, difficulty urinating, testicular pain, runny nose, rash, allergic reactions, swelling of hands or feet, swelling, pain, leakage, or tenderness of the breast tissue. A small percentage of men in clinical trials (3.8%) experienced sexual side effects including reducing sexual desire, erectile dysfunction, or lowered semen volume, which may continue after stopping treatment. It is worth noting that in these same trials, 2.1% of men taking the placebo also reported these sexual effects.
