This treatment plan may help: penetrate into nails to help fight fungal infections and increase healing speed. It may take up to several months to see maximum results. Use this medicine for the full prescribed length of time. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cleared. Follow all directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets. Use the medicine exactly as directed. Do not take by mouth. Topical nail medicine is for use only on the nails and skin directly surrounding nails. Avoid getting this medication in your eyes, lips, or mouth. Do not use on sunburned areas, open wounds, or healthy skin and nail areas. Wash your hands before and after applying formula. Before applying, clean and dry the skin and nail area to be treated. Do not wash the treated area or apply other products for at least 1 hour after applying formula to allow formula to penetrate. Apply to affected area and allow to dry thoroughly before covering area. Store at room temperature. Protect from light and do not refrigerate or freeze. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. Avoid using other products that also contain antifungal agents, DMSO, or topical steroids. If you are treating your feet, wear clean cotton socks and sandals or shoes that allow for air circulation. Keep your feet as dry as possible. Avoid using skin products that can cause irritation, such as harsh soaps, shampoos, hair coloring or permanent chemicals, hair removers or waxes, or skin products with alcohol, spices, astringents, or lime.
